This is quite a lovely journal. I absolutely adore Ms. Basford's coloring books, so I had to pre-order this as soon as I saw it. The cover is very sturdy and beautifully detailed. The edges are gilt and there's a ribbon to mark your place. The pages are off-white and are a decent weight. There are many petite drawings to color; make sure your pencils are very sharp. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the pages are unlined. However, the description doesn't state that it is lined; that was my own assumption. I think this would make a beautiful gift for any lover of Ms. Basford's artwork.I've taken some pictures, and I apologize for the quality of them. That's what happens when the cat wants to help!
