About the Author Annie Soudain's reduction-method linoprints use a single block of linoleum. Images are created by successive processes of cutting, inking up, and printing, whereby colors are applied from lightest to darkest. By the end, most of the block has been cut away, leaving only the portion that printed last, which is usually the darkest color. This is such a beautiful calendar. I have never spent money on a calendar before, but I made an exception for this. Good quality paper, crisp print with vibrant colors. Very happy with this purchase.
